These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cvbold.io and all related services (collectively, "CVBold" or "the Service"), operated by Webxcell Digital & Technology Ltd("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales.
By creating an account or using CVBold you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CVBold is an AI-powered CV and cover letter builder designed for the UK job market. We provide tools to create, edit, export and share CVs, AI-generated writing assistance, ATS scoring, and related career features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible. We will not be liable for any interruption or discontinuation.
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use CVBold.
You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@cvbold.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each account is for a single individual. Sharing accounts or credentials is not permitted.

CVBold offers a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro plan. Plan details and pricing are shown on our Billing page. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Pay-per-download purchases grant you up to 3 downloads of a specific CV in a chosen format, valid for 7 days from purchase. These are non-refundable once the first download has been made.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for unused time within a billing period, except as required by UK consumer law.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for subscription plans, provided you have not downloaded any files or made significant use of Pro-only AI features. To request a refund, email legal@cvbold.io.
AI-generated content (personal statements, bullet points, cover letters, scores) is produced by Anthropic's Claude model. You are responsible for reviewing all AI output before use. CVBold does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content. We strongly recommend that you:
You retain full ownership of the CV and cover letter content you create. By using CVBold, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your CV content to train AI models.
CVBold's design, code, templates, branding and all other materials are owned by Webxcell Digital & Technology Ltd and protected by UK copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute them without our written permission.
If you enable the "Digital CV Profile" feature, your CV will be accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for the content you make public. You can disable this feature at any time from the Personal Details step of the CV builder.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, CVBold and Webxcell Digital & Technology Ltd are not liable for:
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in that period, or £50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Webxcell Digital & Technology Ltd, its directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app banner at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
